Just an awesome old building, so much charm. And Daniel could not have been a better host. He was attentive and funny. He sent us lots of info about activities and sites in the area. I definitely recommend staying here!

I traveled here with my 2 1/2 year old son. The first thing he saw when he leapt out of the car was a field with several apple trees at the far end. Needless to say he dashed toward them, thrilled at the feel of fresh grass under his bare feet and at the huge expanse of green in which he could run. Daniel was an incredibly lovely host-to the extent that my little boy gave him a huge hug when we left and kept asking if we were going to sleep "in the bed in the house on the hill" after we left. Deliciously, locally-sourced and home-made breakfast and interesting conversation made our stay complete. We are looking forward to returning again someday. Merci. merci, merci!

Staying with Daniel at Clos de Brumes was a great pleasure! The house was wonderfull, Daniel explained a lot about how it used to be and how he had made it a comfortable house for guests. In winter it must be very pretty up there too. Daniel informed us where to go for lunch and there were lots of leaflets about the area nearby. In the evening we spend time in the living, very comfortable chairs and good internet. It felt very cosy and at ease in this house full of history. Next morning we had the best breakfast ever, with lots of home made yummies and regional products. Too bad we only could stay one night. Thank you for everything Daniel, you're a perfect host and we can really recommand you!
