The space

This new 2-story, 3-bedroom, 2-bath home has a real country feel. The 1st floor features 1-bedroom with 1-queen size bed, a 2nd bedroom with 1-queen sized bed, 1-full bath, an open and airy living/dining/kitchen area with light pine, vaulted ceilings, a magnificent stone hearth gas fireplace. The 2nd floor features a loft sitting area with 1-king sized bed, a hide-a-bed, and 1-full bath. Outside, you will find a southern style wraparound deck with a private outdoor HOT TUB and a gas grill! This pet friendly vacation property will sleep 6 to 8-persons. (ENFORCED Maximum Occupancy!).

Guests check in at our office in Maple Falls to pick up keys and we are available 7 days a week if guests have needs or concerns.

The Mount Baker Recreation Area is a year-round playground! SUMMER Guests enjoy great hiking, mountain biking, mountain climbing, rock climbing, backpacking, freshwater fishing (lake and river), small game hunting, whitewater rafting, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, nature viewing, tennis, and golf. WINTER Guests enjoy spectacular downhill and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, and sledding. Don't forget your camera...the photography is unsurpassed year-round!

The Baker Bus is a daily bus service to Mt Baker Ski Area. Leaving from Bellingham, and servicing Kendall, Maple Falls and Glacier. The Baker Bus is operational only when Mt. Baker Ski Area is open.


Hiking
View the gorgeous scenery at your own pace. Mount Baker hosts multiple hiking trails, from easy stretches to "experienced only" trekking. The Pacific Crest trail goes right through the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie Forest. Check out the trail conditions at the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest website or at the Mount Baker Hiking Club’s site. Take guided hikes or just to meet fellow hikers!

With record snow falls up to 1100 inches in one season – the Mount Baker Ski Area has the world record for snowfall. Come check out our slopes and trails for the best powder!

Nothing is better in hot weather than cooling off with a swim, Several of our homes have access to community swimming pools or you can visit Silver Lake Park. Make a SPLASH!

Fishing
The Nooksack river is one of the last "wild" rivers in Washington state. Five species of wild salmon swim and flourish is its waters. Nearby, you can enjoy Silver Lake, which is stocked with trout. You can even go deep sea fishing!

This is the perfect cabin for a winter getaway. Great proximity to the mountain, plus a relaxing hot tub for your tired legs. Very comfy beds and charming decor. Would love to come again!

Great location for visiting Mt Baker and hitting the slopes. Easy and convenient check in and secure neighborhood with several amenities. Cabin felt rustic and it was nice to getaway and unplug with no internet or cable.

This is a great space! It feels open and spacious, I loved the loft space and it gave the kids a space to play games or watch a dvd. Kitchen is pretty well equiped, but was missing a few items like measuring spoons. Community is nice, lots of space for kids to play but we spent …

Very nice cabin 30 minutes from Mount Baker ski area and 5 minutes from Glacier. Glacier has handy convenience stores.
