We offer a comfortable 600 sqft studio suite on the second level above our offices. It includes four dormers; two front dormers overlook our driveway, the main house, and our little farm store. The two back dormers overlook the family garden, goat barn, duck pond and chicken coop. Windows to the east overlook our back yard that includes a lily pond and lots of secluded spots to relax and enjoy the day.

The space
On our "farm property" we milk Alpine and La Mancha dairy goats. We have a steady clientele that purchases our raw goat milk, chèvre cheese, feta cheese, ricotta cheese, and cajeta (a mexican caramel sauce).

Guest access
We have a beautifully landscaped back yard with lots of places to walk, sit and talk, view a our lily pond, or just relax in the shade of the oak and fir trees. In the afternoon and evening you may be able to hear the low droning of our American bullfrogs in the lily pond or catch a glimpse of great heron or wild mallard ducks visiting our duck pond.

Other things to note
The farm is a busy place starting early around 7am and going all day until 9pm at night. Goat milking starts at 7:15 am every morning. Our farm store opens at 10am. Saturdays are busy getting ready for and participating in the local farmers market which goes from from 9am to 1pm. In the evening it is quiet and peaceful - a true country setting.

Location

Silverton, Oregon, United States

We are located in a very small development in the middle of farm country 3 miles northeast of Silverton, OR. The little town of Silverton is only 3 miles away and it is a great place to sit and enjoy a smoothie, a llatte or shop the antique stores. We are very close to the Oregon Gardens and Silver Falls State Park. Both are beautiful places to visit and explore.
