All about Chantal’s place

Experience the uniqueness of tiny living without giving up all the comforts of home. Relax in this charming 1 bedroom, 1 bath designer tiny home loaded with nearly all the amenities. Nestled on a small private campground with water view & access. Located adjacent to the Skyway Bridge, makes for a quick and easy access to the beautiful Prince Edward County. Ideal for a romantic getaway. We also provide a canoe for a lovely ride on the Bay of Quite. Come and find out what tiny living is all about.

The space
We tried our best to maximize the space by utilizing every inch of this 300 sq ft home as a functional space without making it feel too crowded or confined. While we had to compromise on storage space we did not compromise on comfort. We also added a touch of style and coziness to make everyone feel at home during their stay.

Tiny Red Door has all the amenities needed for longer stays.

The kitchen is stocked with all cookware along with a gas burning stove for all your cooking needs, also a sink and coffee bar. Note that the kitchen does not contain a microwave and toaster due to our limited electrical power usage. The dining area has an indoor & outdoor bar top. We provide cooking oil and salt & pepper. Also, yes we do provide high quality coffee along with sugar & milk.

The bathroom has a toilet, sink and shower stall with a rain shower head. One towel and face cloth, per guest will be provided during your stay.

The living room has a gas fireplace for chilly days and a sofa that reclines into a bed for extra comfort when watching movies on the big screen tv from the projector. We have included a device to play Netflix from, therefore you will not be required to bring yours. We also linked our Netflix account to it as well.

The master loft hosts a cozy queen size bed for roomy sleeps. We turned the second loft into a reading nook. It also contains a pouf/ottoman to use as an additional sitting chair when hanging in the living room or watching movies.

The outdoor is beautifully lite with Edison bulbs, along with a large deck, a BBQ, a bar top with stools and we also have a sitting area around the fire pit. A hammock is provided for the up most relaxing experience. TRD is located in a small private campground with water view & access.

We also provided a Giant Jenga and Yardzy as games to play in your down time. Lastly, we have included a canoe to enjoy a romantic paddle on the beautiful Bay of Quite waterway.

Where you’ll be

Deseronto, Ontario, Canada

We are located adjacent to the Skyway Bridge that takes you right to beautiful Prince Edward County. ‘The County’ is renowned for its wineries, breweries, beaches, artsy culture, food scene and much more.

TRD is located in Desoronto, a native reserve. You will find locals friendly. They are always welcoming and are eager to chat with you. We encourage our guests to get to know the culture. There is an Native Museum on Hwy 49, 5 minutes away from TRD, if you are interested in visiting. The town is also renowed for its cheap gas and pot shops. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to fill up your vehicle while you’re here but please don’t smoke in our home if you’re going to partake.
