Location

Roybridge, Scotland, United Kingdom

Abundant flora and fauna. Quiet, rural location, world famous for the geological feature 'the parallel roads of Glen Roy' which can be seen on the hillside. These were left by the last ice age. Strong social and political history and links with the 'diaspora', those who emigrated to 'the new world' in the 18th and 19th centuries. Bonnie Prince Charlie spent time in Glen Roy in 1746 whilst in hiding after the battle of Culloden. The crofting township of today is a working crofting (farming) community with cultivated fields and grazing livestock, mainly sheep and cattle.

With eighteen years experience in travel, tourism and hospitality , along with my husband and family, I try to always ensure guests have the holiday they hope for. Customer satisfaction is our number one priority. Alongside self catering we work a croft (small farm) and have seasonal produce available to purchase. We take Covid-19 seriously and respect the need for strict hygiene and social distancing. Our cleaning and check-in/out routines have been reviewed to minimise risk.
