Where you’ll be

Scottish Borders, Scotland, United Kingdom

Cockburnspath is a small, peaceful village near to the coast, with access to beautiful country and coastal walks. The village is in walking distance to Cove bay and the John Muir walk. Dunglass estate is nearby as is Pease bay. Dunbar is a 10 minute drive away where you can find a selection of cafe's and restaurants as well as a swim centre and the famous John Muir museum. Dunbar also offers day trips around the famous Belhaven brewery. The town also has a variety of gift shops to find a treasure or two. The cottage gives great access to the golden East Lothian golf courses to enjoy the golf season. North Berwick, Gullane, Berwick upon tweed and Haddington are also a short drive away where you can enjoy shopping, antiquing and eating. For the adventurous type we are 10/15minutes away from Fox Lake Adventures wakeboarding park where you can have fun challenging yourself to the FoxFall rope course, ZipTrial, Segways or just chill on the lake with a coffee. The area is also well known for surfing. One of our favourite things to do is a walk through the woods to Tyninghame beach and lunch at the Tyninghame Smithy. We also thoroughly enjoy trips to North Berwick which is a 25 minute drive away. It has some beautiful shops and restaurants along with the seabird centre, putting and the lovely beach.
