Interaction with guests
I'm very happy to make new friends and socialize with my guests, but also very respectful of those who want downtime without interruptions. I teach ESL from home to European business people via an online platform, so I am generally around the house and available for questions and information (between class sessions). I speak fluent French, as well as decent Spanish, German, and Italian and glad to help out with recommendations and information in those languages.
No outside guests in the apartment without prior approval of host.
Quiet time after 10:00 pm.
Travel is a very important part of my life and I’m always delighted to meet fellow travelers. I have a very broad range of interests here, and have worked in a variety of jobs including publishing, investment banking, ceramic production, and teaching. My academic background is mainly in language (French, Spanish, German and Italian) and literature, but I also enjoy a diet that includes art, music, and the sciences. I grew up in Texas, but have lived either abroad or on the U.S East Coast for many years. After many years as a production studio ceramist, I have recently transitioned to teaching ESL online for a German company that specializes in training German and French business people. I’m very active and love to be outdoors, and really enjoy all the activities that New England serves up, from a hike in the woods to swimming in the ocean on a warm summer day. I’m glad to share my knowledge of the area and all that it has to offer, and I’m always available to help my guests find interesting places and activities.
