Brandi was more than hospitable she was warm and my daughter enjoyed her conversations with her. She provided some great tips on food in town and also helped us make popcorn for our little movie night in the room. The place was amazing wish we could have stayed longer and rented …

One word: shower! The shower at this place is amazing. It took all of my will power to get out of it. Stay just for the shower. Second plus is one of the beds. I rarely sleep in late but on the first night we slept almost 12 hours because the bed was so comfortable. And lastly Br…

This place was very cute and a great retreat after hiking for the day. They had tons of information available about where to eat and things to do nearby. It's very conveniently located by bike trails and is a quick jaunt from Devil's Lake. I would definitely stay here again.

What a cool place! The hosts are friendly, responsive, and full of great recommendations (that we sadly didn’t get a chance to take advantage of since our stay was so short)! And like many others have said: the shower is AWESOME. Things to know: Like most areas around, cell ser…

Thanks for staying with us Kelley. There's always plenty to return for! It is US Cellular who has the cell tower in our locality, so those phones work best. We personally kept our Verizon Wireless phones since we too travel widely in our off season and find their broad range best, sometimes though when we are in the bests places in nature, we are reminded to take a break from the phone too as more rural or rock bluff/mountain regions have bad cell spots regardless. It is good to note that visitors will have to take advantage of the wi-fi while at our mill or have us help them with directions or print out a mapquest ahead in case (Hidden by Airbnb) maps won't work while driving from one spot to another. We definitely like to point out in our listing that the loft bed is only for the able-bodied that can climb the vertical ladder as photographed-very much like the vertical ladder of a kid's bunk bed or tree-house- the bathroom adjacent to the ladder has three light settings (one particular night light on the overhead) that a party could opt to leave on with the bathroom door cracked open if someone sleeps up top-otherwise the other light switch for the main room light is also located at the loft bed. This feedback/response might be an additional avenue for others to read about all of the details-so thank you for the opportunity to re-visit these items. Hope your summer is excellent and you get the chance to visit again!!
