Luis is awesome! An outstanding host and person. He picked me up from the bus station and got us a taxi back to the AirBnB. I had dinner and tea with his family and other guests. He answered any of the questions I had. The shower was the nicest I’ve had my seven months here in Peru and the room was very comfy. I highly recommend staying Luis!

The place is awesome! Perfect to relax between hikes! Nice view @ the Cordillera! Luis and his family are great hosts! A little walk to the center, but no problem and the cab is just 3 soles (approximatly 1 USD)! Would come again anytime...

I stayed just for a short weekend at Luis's place but it was exactly what I was looking for, hot shower, a bed and very calm compared to places more central. Luis also kindly picked me up at the bus station even though I had booked the day before and didn't have time to give him any details. There is a short walk to go the center but nothing crazy. I definitely recommend the place for people aiming to rest in between treks, to enjoy the great city of Huaraz

Luis was very accommodating. Picked us up from the bus travel agency. Took less than 10 minutes to get to his house. Also very close to the main plaza. By checkout, he had a taxi waiting to take us back to the bus station.

Luis's place is definitely cozy! The rooms are clean and are furnished with exactly what you need. The blankets were super warm and I was able to wash my laundry in their machine. (They have 3 or 4 I think). My shower was broken, but Luis was trying to fix it. The family is very helpful and kind and Luis gave great advice on the area. The location is super quiet. It's within walking distance, but you can also take a collectivo for S0.80. Pretty cheap! Great value!

Luis picked us up from Huaraz bus terminal at 6 am. The hostel is almost new. The bed is really comfortable and clean. Luis let us use the kitchen and he loves his food, even though he is not a chef, you can learn to cook a few Peruvian dishes from him (highly recommended). The place is not in the center of town as such but it's not a bad walk (very secure and safe area) and around the corner for the weekly Sunday food festival. Also, if you are interested in helping the community and do some volunteer jobs, this is the perfect man to talk about it.
