The space
One of 6 the stunning apartments at Monarch Manor Apartments. Queen Anne styling all the way. Furnished with period pieces mahogany, cabriole legs and rattan cane. Master Queen bedroom and twin single bedroom, kitchen, dining table, lounge suite and desk.

Fine bone china, silver & crystal, lovely linen. Well equipped kitchen, all you need to walk in, feel really special yet be at home instantly more spacious than any motel or hotel.

Apartment can be made special for children with books, games and toys even a special duvet when you are staying 2 days or more just make your request, share a little about them and we'll make sure they are most happy. Check out the photos and we even have things to distract the device addicted.

For the little, little ones, we have a draped cane bassinet, lovely cot, traditional highchair, jolly jumper, baby bath toys and freshly laundered just before your arrival bedding, blankets and cuddle rugs.

Ideal when based in Manawatu working there's a desk and Wi-Fi and great Zoom backdrops for Digital Nomads.

Perfect for work, a holiday, getaway, treat or just a break in old world style when visiting Manawatu.

It is very possible to combine all apartments to house large groups for conferences, weddings and events with sufficient forward planning and advance booking.

Faithful to its name, "Monarch Manor" in summer you will enjoy caterpillar to chrysalis to butterfly flitting in the afternoon sun.

Gardens to walk and swing in, seasonal fruit & vege in garden to use. The grounds and gardens are for the enjoyment of all. Pick whatever, flowers, fruit or veges the season provides.

There is a swing chair, and various areas to sit in the sun or shade. Latest addition for everyone’s use is a BBQ and BBQ area.

Other things to note
We don't charge a cleaning fee, guests in return strip their beds, leave all dirty linen in the bathroom, kitchen generally clean, dishwasher on and rubbish all in one place, that helps us do all the rest that keeps the apartments spotlessly clean.

We work hard to tread as lightly as possible on our planet and encourage everyone who visits to embrace recycling, use our compost bins, hang damp towels in the hot-water cupboard or pop them on the line, use the coffee mugs while you're here and cut back on throwaway cups, use our water bottles and shopping bags.

Ideal for 3-6 months as your home while you establish yourself from when moving to Palmerston North or here on a fixed contract or academic on sabbatical.

Monarch Manor Apartments is so close to town the Central Business District and The Square are 12 houses away. The early town planners designed the town as a grid radiating from The Square, Church St is one of the major streets running to The Square and means its hard to get lost and easy to get around and all easy walking.

Monarch Manor is a lovely character building next to our home. Its beautiful silk tree attracts Monarch Butterflies who thrive on swan plants in mine and the Manor gardens. I shocked my long suffering husband, I bought it at Auction while he was out of town. We have restored the 6 apartments to create a haven of old world charm, with all the mod-cons. Its central city walk-able. Perfect for larger groups who can have some or all of the complex.
