Room in boutique hotel hosted by The Calistoga Inn

2 guests, 1 bedroom, 1 bed, 1 shared bathroom
Enhanced Clean
This host has committed to Airbnb's 5-step enhanced cleaning process.
The Calistoga Inn was built in 1887 as a European-style hotel for travelers to Calistoga. Owned by a mother and son duo since 1989, the Inn has undergone a renovation that has brought it into the modern era. The rooms remain "shared-bath" and are simple, clean and quaint, while also maintaining their affordability. Spend time at one of our three bars or dine with us in our newly upgraded dining room or our main patio, which offers the best al fresco dining experience in the Napa Valley.

The space
Conveniently located on Lincoln Avenue, the main street of Calistoga, the Inn has 17 hotel rooms with shared-bath accommodations down the hallway. We also have one private cottage with en suite bath, cable TV and air conditioning, so feel free to inquire about availability.

Where you’ll be

Calistoga, California, United States

Calistoga is the crown of Napa Valley. Enjoy a day of wine tasting, then come settle in at one of our bars for a cold beer brewed right here onsite by the Napa Valley Brewing Company. Right down the street is Pioneer Park, and during the summertime, every Thursday evening is 'Concerts in the Park'. Make sure to get there early to drop off your blanket: it fills up fast! And of course, make sure your picnic basket is complete with a bottle of wine from one of our local wineries or a six pack of our hand-crafted beer!

About the Owners

My mother Rosie (of the famous Rosie's Café in Tahoe City) and I have owned and operated the Calistoga Inn since 1989. We're both active in the community where I've served as the vice-mayor of Calistoga for the last fifteen years and Rosie served as a city council member for five years before me. We are dedicated to elevating the experiences not just of locals, but for the many tourists who make their way to Napa Valley each year. While staying at the Inn, we hope you'll enjoy one of our hand-crafted beers, which are brewed onsite by the Napa Valley Brewing Company. We also have an extensive wine and cocktail list. The Inn offers a variety of venue spaces for you to enjoy throughout the seasons. We have an indoor sports pub, vintage dining room, new inside/outside patio bar, beer garden and the best al fresco patio dining scene in the Napa Valley.

During your stay

Due to COVID-19, our Hotel Office is open by appointment only. Please call our main line at 942-4101 (area code 707) to secure your 15 minute check in window.

LATE CHECK IN INSTRUCTIONS

In the event that you arrive later than anyone being present at the Calistoga Inn we do have a backup plan: there is a black emergency staircase on the exterior of the back of the building (located on Cedar Street). We will place an envelope on the underside of the stairs with your name on it and the keys inside. We will ONLY do this if you have not yet checked in by the time our office person is leaving, so please try the Hotel Office door first.

The square key will get you into the glass door at the FRONT of the building (on Lincoln Avenue). It will also open the main doors of the bathrooms which you will find midway in the hall (right hand turn). Once inside use the second key for the room # on the key fob.
