Welcome! This listing is for one tent for 1-2 people. You’ll need to bring a pad and any linens you need. The campsite has 2 restrooms with power and running water and a cooking station (grill with utensils, outdoor sink). Hammock stands, picnic tables. And an amazing view of the Caribbean Sea and St. Thomas. The Windmill Bar is a short walk away and has wifi. $75 per tent per night for 1-2 people. We provide potable water but not ice. Thank you!

The space
This basic campsite is 600 feet above sea level at Historic Estate Susannaberg which borders the National Park. It has a beautiful sweeping view of Caneel Bay, the Caribbean Sea and St. Thomas and the neighboring British Virgin Islands. Easy hike down to Jumbie Bay. 2 miles from the ferry dock in Cruz Bay. About 5 miles from Coral Bay. There are 2 permanent restrooms but otherwise, there is no building for your use. This is basic camping- please bring the very basics of what you need and protect electronics in case of rain. We have coolers for your use. You will need to purchase water for drinking- water in bathroom is not treated. If you aren’t renting a vehicle, we can help with getting water and provisions to the campsite for you.

This campsite is in Historic Susannaberg, the site of a former sugar planation. The ruins from the windmill and plantation house are intact. Shambles bar and grill is an easy 5-minute walk from the campsite. There is a laundromat 2 buildings away from Shambles. Paradise Lumber is nearby as well.

Hi! Traveling, music, and the ocean are three things that are near and dear to my heart. I split my time between St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands and Savannah. As a host, I use "the Golden Rule" and try to create an environment that I would want to be in as a guest. Cleanliness and comfort (i.e. nice towels and sheets) are always a priority. We are very flexible and do what we can to make each guest's stay as nice as possible and to make everyone feel at home. **Please note that since we have 19 units and allow guests to arrive any time (literally) after 3pm, you will likely show yourself in and may not meet us in person. We are, however, always available if you need us. Thank you!
