We welcome you to our Breton home. Our house is situated in a quiet spot, a short walk from the town square, for restaurants, bars and shops. It is close to the forest for country walks to suit walkers of all abilities. The lake offers wonderful opportunities for photographs, fishing and picnics. This area is renowned for its magical forest and ancient stones. If you want a flavour of local cuisine, Huelgoat's restaurants and crêperies are a must. Huelgoat, Bretagne, France

Huelgoat has a friendly atmosphere and you may be pleased to find that most of the restaurants have an English version of the menu. There are two banks with ATMs and a laundrette in the town centre should you require them. We have several good crêperies in Huelgoat, some of them overlooking the lake. This is a seasonal town and some of the businesses may be closed or have reduced hours during the winter months. There is a market in the town square every Thursday morning. There are also very good restaurants where you can enjoy Breton, French or Columbian cuisine; as well as pizzas. We will gladly recommend our favourites to you. Visit La Roche Tremblante (The Trembling Rock) where Gareth can tell you how to make a 350 tonne stone wobble with your bare hands!
