Where you’ll be

San Francisco, California, United States

Our location gives you the best of two worlds . . . we’re in Potrero Hill, which is one of the warmest and sunniest parts of San Francisco and boasts a variety of interesting restaurant choices. At the same time, we’re within easy walking distance of the hip Mission District, which is known for its artistic murals, charming boutiques, specialty stores and a wealth of restaurants offering something for every taste and budget.

While in Potrero, you can visit the Anchor Steam brewery, or head over to 18th Street and Connecticut to do some shopping and grab a great meal! Potrero Hill is known for its stunning views of downtown San Francisco and the Bay Bridge.

If you head down Kansas St., you'll be in a thriving center for interior design. As you head west, you’ll find many unique places to explore, including cafes, restaurants, and local sites like Heath Ceramics. Keep going west, and you'll arrive in the heart of the Mission district.

You can enjoy a cup of cappuccino and a pastry in one of the area’s many cafés and artisanal bakeries. Keep the fun going in any of the local bistros and some of the city’s hottest up-and-coming bars.

In addition, there's a bus stop a block away that gives you easy access to downtown, the waterfront, Chinatown, Fisherman’s Wharf and other tourist attractions.

I work in public relations and was formerly a journalist. I am passionate about baseball, my family, baseball, dogs, baseball, travel, baseball and ... well ... you get the picture.

I have traveled in 65 countries, plus Antarctica, so I have first-hand knowledge of the issues travelers can encounter. San Francisco is a city of 49 square miles/127 kilometers, but it is unique and very culturally diverse. As a host, I will do all I can to help enrich your travel experience.
