I am a freelance journalist, writer and language tutor embarking on my first novel.

After having travelled extensively and lived in various parts of the world, I decided to call Spain my home in 2006.

Some Kind of Blue was my third property restoration in Europe, and the place where I fell completely in love with Miles Davis - hence the name.

My motivation to create, is fed by an addiction to music and reading, the joy I find in social interaction, and an unapologetic determination to live life to its fullest.

On any given day you may find me toiling away in the neighbouring gardens or hold up in my studio in the other house on the property, trying to put prose to print.

If you are so inclined, at a time of your choosing, sharing a bottle of full-bodied red from my humble collection, would be my absolute pleasure.
