Patricia's place was great. A cozy apartment that is very clean and great provisions were provided with a full kitchen to make pancakes and eggs that were provided by her. We had a wonderful stay!

Patricia is a wonderful host! When we arrived she was waiting for us and gave us a warm welcome. The apartment was just what we were looking for-functional, comfortable and quiet. The bowl of fruit and breakfast items were an added bonus. Patricia answered all my questions before arrival, provided directions for a day trip, made recommendations for restaurants and even took us on a tour to the beach to show us petroglyphs! Gracias, Patricia!!

Chacala is a wonderfully quiet beach town with very friendly locals. Especially the host Patricia at Casa Sirena. She took great care of us and made a super relaxing vacation. Casa Sirena and Chacala is the place to be!

Walkable to everything in Chacala. Pati is knowledgeable on the whole area and beyond generous. The giant bowl of veggies she gave us did indeed make a great salsa.

The place is really close to the beach only 5 minutes walking. When we arrived there was already a dozen of eggs and fruits for breakfast in the apartment. The cost / benefit ratio is really good for anyone traveling on a budget. Patricia is really kind and helpful. Totally recommended!

I am a retired Spanish Immersion Teacher from Northern, CA. I first came to the Rivieras Nayarita 23 years ago, my bilingual & binational family and I have been returning since. We built a home in Los Ayala, later La Penita de Jaltemba and for the last ten years Chacala.
I first came to Chacala by fourwheel drive, later by boat, and decided to live here after snorkleing in her crystal clear waters. The local town people gave me the nick-name Sirena (Mermaid) after watching my daily swim across the bay. I enjoy Chacalas tranquility and friendly people, always ready to lend a neighbor a hand.
Chacala's fresh seafood (Lobster, octopus, and fish) are prepared as you like it Bayside! Trips on a Banana, to The Caves Beach, The surfer's beach or to Coral Island upon request.
