Annascaul, County Kerry, Ireland

We are located to the back of the Famous South Pole Inn. The Carriage is located along the riverbank close to the meeting of the rivers.
You will be located in the centre of the village of Annascaul. Food is available in the South Pole inn, Patcheen's for fish and chips, and Joan's café for great breakfast and lunch. Hannafin's bar really popular with walkers is a short stroll through the village.
O'Domhnaill's shop is a few doors up and Ashe's shop at the other end of the village.
The road to the side of the unit brings you to Tom Crean's grave and beautiful Annascaul lake.
It is just 5km from iconic Inch Beach, where you can do all sorts of activities including surfing. There is also a park run along the beach on Saturday mornings if you are feeling energetic.
Minard beach and castle is a few km away towards Lispole and well worth a visit for the beautiful views.

We are Áine and Micheál. We are both from Kerry and Micheál is native to Annascaul. Our love of the outdoors and West Kerry is what led us to set up Dingle Way Glamping. Our desire to create a sustainable work life balance for our family while living in a place we love was our inspiration. The Dingle Way is an historic and famous walking trail that takes you on a journey through the most beautiful scenery on the Dingle Peninsula. Central to our ethos is a desire to create a unique holiday experience while having minimal impact on the local environment. We also believe that glamping is a wonderfully low impact and environmentally friendly way of visiting beautiful and unspoiled areas and a fantastic way to meet like minded people. We are passionate about supporting local food producers and tradespeople (Website hidden by Airbnb) We believe that West Kerry is one of the most beautiful in the world and we want to give people the opportunity to experience this in a natural and relaxed way. Micheál was a carpenter for many years and he now brings that experience and drive for quality to this project, handcrafting our glamping units. He also builds bespoke shepherd's huts for glamping enthusiasts. Áine has vast experience in the customer service industry in Ireland and spent some time exploring and working abroad. She brings this love of adventure and passion for delivering excellent standards to our new venture.
