All I can say is wow! What a beautiful property and even more beautiful home. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and exceeded my expectations. The accommodations were also fantastic, breakfast had options for diets of all kinds. The house is positioned so that there is no noise from near by roads perfect for a quite get away. Thank you Steve for sharing your Home!

The location was ideal for our hikes at Opal Creek and Silver Falls State Park. Our hosts were courteous and knowledgeable about the area. The room was large, the home and property gorgeous. Couldn't have picked a better place to stay!

This is a beautiful house on a beautiful property. What Steve has done here is truly amazing. We only stayed one night and then to watch the total eclipse the next day, but we were treated very well and enjoyed our experience greatly. The dog, donkeys, and horses are fun. The trails are beautiful. The landscaping is incredible. The workmanship on the house is outstanding. This is truly something special.

Must stay for more than one night! The scenery and house are set in a fantastic wilderness. We loved watching the full sky of stars outside on the patio with the fire lit at night. Deer passed in the pasture across the pond in the evening and the horses were lovely to watch in the morning. Phenomenal view and lovely home! We only regret not staying longer. <3

My wife Shelley and I are retired educators. Shelley worked with a home designer to design our Cascade Mountain Lodge. Construction was completed in September of 2008. We love where we live and feel very fortunate to be able to share it with others.
