34 Water Lane is a delightful cosy cottage in the historic village of Cromford - home of Richard Arkwright's first mill - Arkwright Mill.
The cottage can accommodate up to four people. A lounge, dining kitchen and cloakroom are on the ground floor. The double bedroom on the first floor offers a kingsized bed, whilst the second floor bedroom has a double bed. A newly fitted shower room is also on the second floor.
Built into the hillside, two terraces are located at the rear of the cottage.

The space
The property is an old mill workers cottage and retains many original features. These include grit stone fireplaces in the lounge and both bedrooms, exposed beans and the original steep and narrow internal stairs - a bit of a challenge for some!
Outside, the garden is built into the hillside and two small terraces are offered - accessed by original, rather steep, stone steps.

Due to the nature of the internal internal staircase and outside steps, the property is not suitable for young children.

Guest access
All of the cottage is available for you to use and enjoy.

Other things to note
As the property is located on one of the two main roads going in and out of Cromford, guests can expect an amount of traffic on Water Lane.. However, this should not interfere with your enjoyment of the property, as secondary glazing has been installed in the property.
The stairs inside the property are the original narrow, steep stairs and may present a challenge to some guests.
