The space
It's a house with trees and a garden area. A little old modernist style built in 1910. Listed as an artistic heritage by the Generalitat de Catalunya. It was owned by the painter Modesto Cuixart, a member of the Dau al Set art group and representative of post-war art. The property also houses the painting workshop, which can be visited by appointment.
It's a house full of history and art.

Guest access
Our common areas are the library and the outdoor space. We have a garden and a porch perfect for uncorking a bottle of local wine. Light the fire and have a small barbecue.
We know where to find wine and also where to visit local vineyards and other cultural routes.

Other things to note
There are 2 rooms with capacity for 4 people, couples and families, only one reservation. With 2 double beds and very spacious rooms with a private bathroom.

Where you’ll be

Palafrugell, Catalunya, Spain

Palafrugell is known for being the most commercial village in the region in the morning. Starting at 8 am, the market stops start to fill Pi i Margall Street in its entirety, stretching out along the adjoining streets and filling the town with fruit, vegetables, meat, fish, clothes, shoes, toys, kitchen utensils, and much more! In addition, the vast majority of shops in the village keep their doors open until 1: 30.

After taking a stroll around the market and shopping areas, you can rest your arms and bags while you have an aperitivo on one of the terraces of Plaza Nova. Apart from the people in the village, you will see tourists and neighbors from other towns in the region who come to shop and enjoy the atmosphere.

Do not leave without going through the Fraternal Center, also located in Plaza Nova. It is a historic building of the recreational and association activity of Palafrugell that has welcomed and still hosts from the cinema, theater, terrace, afternoon dancing, children's activities, concerts, etc. It is also honored to have the first library of Palafrugell open to the public (from 1905), although currently it can only be visited if requested. The bar space transports us to the atmosphere of 19th century casinos.
