Naivasha is a quiet retreat that offers urban comforts amidst nature. This Condé Nast recommended studio is private, has an attached kitchen & bath, hot/cold AC, high speed WiFi & overlooks a beautiful orchard garden with fruit trees, pond, meditation gazebo, fire pit, pizza oven, organic produce & birdsong. It is a short walk from the Dal Lake. Close by are Mughal gardens, Hazratbal & Dachigam National Forest.

The space
Condé Nast Traveler has listed Naivasha as one of the top five homestays in Srinagar. We also have a new cottage at this property that can accommodate another 3 people.
1. You can have your food delivered from several neighborhood eateries through Zomato , Gatoes etc or choose to cook in the studio’s kitchen.
2. Public transport is available a short walk from our property. Uber, Jugnoo etc can be available at the doorstep.
3. Complimentary seasonal fruits, vegetables and herbs, grown organically in our garden, are available for the guests upon request.
4. The services of a dhobi/laundry can also be made available for the guests subject to advance notice.
5. City center is about 8 km away and is easily accessible through public transport or app based cabs.
6. Dal Lake is 1.3 km away. Nishat and Shalimar gardens are about 5 kms away.
7. Guests are not allowed to have any local guest or local visitor stay with them.

A traditional Kashmiri bakery is just around the corner from Naivasha where local breads are available fresh from the oven in the mornings and afternoons. There are a couple of convenience stores in our lane just outside. The old Hazratbal market, with fresh vegetables and its famous wicker-work shops, is also close by. On Fridays this market is abuzz with merchants from nearby villages who sell a whole range of produce and other goods. There are also several eateries in the area within a 3-4 kilometer radius. They also deliver. Naseem Bagh and Kashmir University are also walking distance.
