Leonie is a great hostess, and the apartment is great.
We stayed for 7 nights, me & a colleague, in what turned out to be a very quiet street in a very cosy neighbourhood.
The good things:
Although strictly residential, the street is less than 100 meters away from the nearest tram station, several pubs/restaurants, and Kaiser supermarkets. It is also across the street from the Rhine river, and the very large parks that stretches across the river. If you feel like it, you can cross the river by the nearby bridge, and reach the center of Dusseldorf within minutes of walking (or just 1-2 stations by tram)
The apartment is newly renovated, and is clean, spacious and full of light. A full kitchen offers the option to cook you meals, and all the necessary entertainment options are in place.
The bad things:
Nothing major, actually. Some small details that are missing, but can easily be fixed - no towel holders in the bath, no toilet paper holders in the toilet, no opaque shades in the bath (this matters in the evenings, as there are neighbors just across the yard with the option to stare in), no dish dryer by the kitchen sink - again, these are minor and can easily be amended. Thanks, Leonie!
