Your accommodation is a bright spacious double bedroom with ensuite facilities. It has it's own private entrance. It is located on a quiet road overlooking the Wild Atlantic Way. It is situated on an elevated site with uninterrupted views over the Atlantic Ocean, Aran Islands, Connemara and the stunning golden sands of Fanore beach. The Burren's limestone hills frame the backdrop to your accommodation. You have a choice of three walking routes just outside your gate.

The space
Your bedroom has a double bed with adjoining shower and toilet. Also included for your comfort, is a couch where you can relax and watch the sun go down on Galway Bay. Enjoy my home made scones on your arrival. For your convenience there is a kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, microwave and mini fridge. To set you up for the day ahead you can enjoy a continental breakfast of fruit juice, cereal, yogurt, fruit, my own homemade brown soda bread and tea or coffee.

Where you’ll be

Fanore, County Clare, Ireland

This is an ideal base to explore the unique Burren area, visit the Cliffs of Moher(18k)and
enjoy a trip to the Aran Islands. Daily ferry services operate during the summer. You may want to just stay local and enjoy being in Fanore - the beach(beach towels available), surfing, walks, cycling. Take in the spectacular views while relaxing at the picnic bench. The local pub, O'Donoghues, serves food during the summer months, in line with public health advice. There is also a small grocery store in the village and this is open every day. Doolin village is less than a 15 minute drive away. All pubs and hotels serve food, also in line with public health advice.

I am semi retired and get to enjoy living in Fanore and walking in the Burren everyday! I volunteer on lots of projects, monitoring butterflies, recording rare Burren flowers, working on archaeological excavations. I love meeting people and really hope you enjoy my place as much as I do!
