HOME HIGHLIGHTS
Great check-in experience90% of recent guests gave this home’s check-in process a 5-star rating.

In the greenest part of Paris, near 2 major parks, on a quiet residential street in a trendy area, full of great restaurants, bars and art galleries. The flat has 2 bedrooms + a sofabed in the living area. Great for up to 6. The nearby metro takes you to the very center of Paris in 10 mn. The designer flat has very big spaces and great modern decor. The bare brick walls give it an arty "lofty" style almost impossible to find in central Paris. A perfect place to rest after having roamed the city

There were no surprises! Joel really is the perfect host. Above all, he is caring and wants to make sure your stay is comfortable. Our week in Paris was unseasonably cold - actually frigid - and he reached out to make sure we were ok. Because of the weather and spending more time…

Thanks Lynne for your nice words. Glad you enjoyed the coziness of the flat in the mad cold wave. You definitely have to come back to experience Paris in spring, when everything is so inviting :)

Thank you Sara, I'm so happy you had such a good time in my flat. Yes, I love the fact the neighbourhood is so quiet and peaceful, and yet just 10mn walk from the really busy nightlife district of the rue Oberkampf.

Joel’s apartment is located close to the metro station and there are a few bakeries and a supermarkey nearby. The apartment was very cosy and clean, we did enjoy staying there during our weekend trip to Paris.

Thanks Lisa for your nice review. Glad you enjoyed your stay :) There are indeed quite a few nice bakeries around, especially on the very trendy rue de la villette. Future guests, please note that there are plenty of other good shops too, including great patisseries, cheese shops, wine shops, chocolate heavens, and a big supermarket just around the metro jourdain (going downhill towards station Pyrennees). In that stretch you can enter rue de la villette, which is in itself a definition of what Paris means by "bobo" (=bourgeois-bohemian). That's where you find the kind of shops where you wonder what is for sale and what is just the decoration LOL. This street takes you to the Parc des buttes chaumont, which has been rated by the Guardian as the second best parc in the world (Website hidden by Airbnb) Maybe a bit exaggerated, but indeed a very nice place to explore!
