If mountain biking is your thing then the cottage is centrally located for four of the 7 Stanes Mountain Bike trails, and we have secure lock up for your bikes and a bike wash facility. Dumfries is about fifteen minutes drive and provides shops, restaurants, pubs and an ice rink and the Robbie Burns Museum. There are may tourist attractions like the Cream of Galloway, Aviation Museum and Mabie Farm park .
