Our little farm is tucked neatly away outside of city limits and we are especially grateful as life in the country is inherently socially distant. We are your perfect escape from the monotony of the daily routine and a refreshing way to connect even when your intention is to disconnect. Bring a friend, a partner, your little one or your dog and have a cold drink by the fire. We’re happy to have you! Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

The space
This tiny home is located on our small farm, about 40ft away from our main cordwood house with its own separate parking area and entrance. With a spacious outdoor deck, your private fire pit, room to roam the small farm & garden, our space is more than just a place to sleep!

Where you’ll be

Smithville, Texas, United States

Our farm is a 30 minute, easy drive from the Austin-Bergstrom Airport and 45 minutes from most of the main attractions in downtown Austin, including Zliker Park (Austin City Limits) and all things South by Southwest. We are a 20 min drive from the adorable historical towns of Bastrop and Smithville which both offer boutique shopping, local markets, unique restaurants and small-town charm. Circuit of the Americas, home of Formula 1 and Austin360 Amphitheater, is a short distance away as well. If you need last minute supplies, snacks, emergency pizza or burgers, Wagon Wheel (our local corner store), a dollar store, and the Rosanky Ice House Sports Bar are located only 3 miles down the road.

I'm a free thinker, homesteader, animal lover and mother. I appreciate new faces, fresh perspectives and I am so grateful for this little farm life we're creating. I have compassion and respect for all creatures and love to experience new places and people. As both a guest and hostess, I try to stay flexible, stay easy-going, and find that things turn out best when met on common ground.

During your stay

We live on-site and can be available in person or by Airbnb message/text/phone call (cell availability outside of our home WiFi signal is limited to AT&T) at any time. We'd love to show you around and answer any questions you may have about natural building, rainwater and grey water capture, raising goats and chickens, or any of the happenings on our homestead that you'd be interested in learning more about! We are respectful of your privacy, so further interaction isn’t a necessity either. If you are off and busy doing other things or looking for some alone time in the country that’s ok too. We'll leave it totally up to you.
