Quiet neighborhood minutes from Belmar & Colorado Mills shopping centers. Short drive to Red Rocks & Golden. Light Rail just 2 blocks away goes downtown to Auraria campus, MSU Denver, Denver Community College & UC Denver as well as Mile High stadium, Pepsi Center, Union Station, DIA. Near I-70 to mountains or Aurora. 420 friendly. Reserved parking, on-site laundry, close to shops, restaurants, dispensaries. Includes 37" TV w free Amazon Prime, Netflix, HBO Max, Starz, PS4, high speed internet

The space
Access (shared w owner) to 1 full bathroom as well as access to full kitchen w pots, pans, wok, baking dishes, cutting boards, utensils, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, food processor and more.

Access to the common areas (if desired) offers lots of natural light (beautiful glow in the morning sun, wicked sunsets), Kuereg coffee maker or French press, wireless printer (just download the Canon printer app), reliable & fast wifi.

Off-street parking (1 reserved space + visitor spaces as well), stocked wet bar w/ ice bucket (feel free to use, I only ask that, like a coffee, if you deplete, please replace).

Happy to add a pre-rolled joint from one of our local dispensaries if desired (free--no need to replace).

The pics are a bit dated (addt'l couch added, bed has headboard, nightstands, new sink fixtures, cooling memory foam pillows).

Lots of bike hooks + extra space available for gear in the small storage area below (where the on-site laundry room is). If you have some extra boxes or baggage--or maybe a kayak (can measure if needed), there should be room.

Vibrant with art! (Very talented friends' (and 2 nieces') works and other prints collected over time.)

Overall minimalist, mid-mod aesthetic.

Any questions let me know. I want your stay to be as enjoyable as possible.

I appreciate your feedback so please let me know your thoughts after (or during) your stay.

Where you’ll be

Lakewood, Colorado, United States

Mostly quiet neighborhood with several shops and parks within walking/riding distance.

One block away is a dedicated bike/pedestrian path that feeds into a network of trails that stretch to the furthest reaches of the city in seemingly every direction (I have a map of all the interconnected bike lanes/paths in the city if needed as well as most of the statewide dirt trails).

Condo where you'll be staying is situated one block north of Colfax: a busy, bustling primary thoroughfare that cuts right through the middle of Denver and offers an assortment of interesting shops, restaurants, goods, services, and often some great people-watching. Some spots are more active (and more modern) than others but you'll see an interesting profile of the city nonetheless.

This is a neighborhood slowly gentrifying with some modernized commercial districts and others still in the same buildings they were 20 years ago. And while crime is very low in Lakewood, being that it's attached to a major city, always take a common sense safety approach when out and about wherever you are.

Closest dispensaries are located in neighboring Edgewater (recreational sales banned in Lakewood) with closest one being "The Green Solution" at 20th and N. Harlan St., just up the street from Edgewater library and Walker-Branch Park (a 12 minute bike-laned ride or 5 min. drive from the condo). Dispensaries are located all over the city (in-fact there are more dispensaries in Denver than there are Starbucks locations).

Several local and chain restaurants dot the road (just name the food and you'll usually find it) plus this neighborhood also has an elusive Casa-Bonita! as well as the usual suspects you see in every city and town. Also several locally-owned restaurants and bars nearby (let me know your must-have food and I'll gladly recommend some places).

Also noteworthy, there is a WalMart Supercenter, Grease Monkey, Safeway, 7-Eleven, Vape shops, Record (vinyl) stores, a Home Depot, an Alamo Draft House and a great local gym (Clout on Simms Street) all less than a mile away.

Hello, and thanks for visiting!

I'm a web designer and developer working in the Denver metro area, living in Lakewood, born in the dust bowls of Oklahoma.

I love skiing, biking, camping, summitting 14ers, and consuming spicy food with cold Pinot-G.

I love the idea that my place helps people from around the globe find a homebase for their Colorado workstays, vacations and adventures.

I dont travel as much as some here do, but a couple times a year I Iike to leave the country and find an ocean somewhere (usually close-by in the western hemisphere).

I mostly read weird old books and watch baseball games, and I like to make fresh salsa and eat tacos.

Music? Name it.

I love Denver because it manages to fulfill all of my cravings: mountains 45 mins to the west; city a 20 minute train ride to the east (while I live in between, where it's quiet so I can think).

Thanks for taking the time to read. May you find fulfillment in your travels.
