Private access to the entire 3rd floor in this historic W. Hartford home. Walking distance to Hartford's historic West End & across the street from the oldest municipal rose garden, Elizabeth Park. Close to WH center, St Joseph and UConn Law School.

The space

You will enjoy the privacy of the entire third floor including your own bath. The bedroom has two twin beds and there is an entirely separate sitting area with a flat screen TV. Mini fridge and microwave are available on the third floor. You may use the coffee maker in the kitchen.

Interaction with guests

Dodger is the world's friendliest dog. May bark when you enter, but only looking for love. I am happy to offer sightseeing or restaurant suggestions but am presuming that you would like your privacy.

Other things to note

The house is on the corner. It faces Fern Street, but the driveway is in the rear on Concord Street. There is no parking on Fern Street and no overnight parking on Concord street. Please park in the driveway, which is on Concord Street behind the house, on the left hand side.

My friend and I stayed with Carol the weekend of the Hartford marathon. Her place was just what we needed—10 minute drive to the start and finish, out of the way of race traffic, and very quiet. Carol was friendly and helpful, and her dog is a real sweetie. Coming and going was a breeze, and we got a great night's sleep before the big race.

Carol is very welcoming and accommodating, and her dog Dodger is super sweet! Carol's lovely home is right across the street from Elizabeth Park in a quiet historic neighborhood. The attic studio is quite spacious and bright. As a light sleeper, I was pleased that the house and street noise were fairly non-existent, and I slept well in the comfortable bed. Great choice for people who enjoy old homes with character.

Carol was a great host and her place was perfect for me! I had the entire 3rd floor complete with a full bathroom, microwave, mini fridge, and keurig with complimentary coffee, tea and oatmeal. Carol went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable for my one night. The place itself is quiet and right across the street from Elizabeth Park, so convenient that I was able to walk to the wedding and back in a matter of minutes! I would definitely stay here again! Thank you again!!

I stayed one night at Carol's place. Just as described, privacy and good location should be highlighted. Very quite and safe area. Also good for a family as it's spacious.

Carol has been very flexible as I come and go while dealing with lengthy construction at my house. A great hostess!
