Cosy studio in garden by a beech tree with private entrance for 2 guests. We provide a king-size bed & separate shower-room. Outside is a private patio area. We are a few minutes walk from the village which has a variety of shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs in its high street and is situated within the New Forest National Park. We are a short walk (10 to 15 mins) from the beach and numerous walks in the surrounding countryside. Ideal for walkers, cyclists, birdwatchers and marine activities.

The space
The space is safe and secluded providing an ideal base for exploring the local area.
Suitable for light self-catering, this is a convenient location for visiting the Georgian town of Lymington with its Saturday market and yachting centre, the Isle of Wight and the New Forest. It is half a mile away from the beautiful Keyhaven Nature Reserve where you can spot Marsh Harrier, Peregrine and Merlin. You can also visit Hurst Castle by walking along Hurst spit or taking a ferry from Keyhaven. From the Beech Hut you are a few minutes away from wonderful countryside walks taking you across fields with magnificent views of the Solent and the Isle of Wight.

There is a Smart TV, Wi-Fi, king-size bed, private seating area outside. The kitchen has a fridge with icebox, kettle, microwave, induction hob(single ring), toaster and coffee maker. A small table and chairs are provided for eating. There is a washing machine available in a covered area at the back of the cabin. An iron and ironing board are provided. Also a hair dryer. Towels and bedlinen provided.

On your arrival there will be a welcome pack provided.

We can also loan maps of the area showing the local walks.

We have 4 chickens and a cockerel. The cockerel (named Eric) is close to the cabin and he does crow quite loudly and early on a summer morning. We cannot guarantee that they will be laying during your stay, but if they are you are welcome to some eggs.

I live with my husband, Larry and our collie dog Sasha. We have lived in Milford on Sea for 11 years. Prior to that we lived in Rickmansworth in Hertfordshire. Larry is a professional builder and landscaper. I am a qualified bookkeeper and work part-time from home. I am also an artist, I use mainly watercolour but also mixed media. The local area has stunning scenery so I am never without inspiration for painting the next picture.
