We had a great time in Leah's house! It was very clean and comfortable. The AC really helped during one of the hottest weekends of the year in California. We especially liked all the toys, games and puzzles for the kids. Leah was a great host, very quick at responding and giving …

Location was good. Stay was calm and peaceful. Not enough restrooms was a issue. Lot of bugs and insects in the evenings, so spending time on patio is a issue. Access to bass lake is good , however further away from yosemiti NP.

Response from Leah:
Review is accurate. There are only two bathrooms and this is why maximum occupancy is limited to 8 people, including children. Guests who break this rule and bring more people are unhappy with two bathrooms. This property is nested inside the Sierra National Forest. 2017 winter brought record rains and a bumper crop of mosquitos. On the bright side; Bass Lake is full and Yosemite waterfalls are the best I have ever seen (and I grew up here). Yes, this nine-acre property is one mile from Bass Lake and 23 miles from Yosemite. It's perfect if you want to enjoy the area without lodging among the huge, summer crowds.

I am a mother of eight-year-old twins and an economics professor. (And this is why no one will talk to me at a cocktail party :-) !) Seriously, I enjoy learning new things and meeting people. I love hiking in the Sierras with my friends and family. Just looking at maps of Bass La…
