We were pleasantly surprised by the place, the dogs were lovely, the cottage was perfect, and the view was spectacular! While we didn't get to meet Wendy in person, she had made sure that we would have an excellent stay, down to a delicious breakfast spread and firewood. We'll be back!

We had amazing stay with Wendy and Neil, even though it was only one night. The cottage is simple, but very clean and you have everything you need. It was cold when we stayed, so we lit the fire and made everything super cosy. We took a simple dinner with us, but next time will make use of the barbecue! Wendy and Neil are lovely, friendly hosts, and made us feel very welcome. The best thing about the cottage is the location, which is truly unique. Make sure you take the time to explore the beautiful garden and grounds, which is stuffed full of wildlife.

Although close to main house don't be put off! It's very private and the scenery is superb. We went for a walk around the property which is vast and saw wallabies in their pristine natural environment. Bird life is abundant. Due to the weather being so wet and cold (very unusual for September), we still enjoyed the walk and are sure we would have seen more wildlife as their property is classified as "land for wildlife" (URL HIDDEN) Umbrellas are provided if you forgot to take one yourself. Gorgeous large rock boulders and scenery across the valley. Picture perfect.

Wendy's place is beautiful! From the warm welcome by 2 gorgeous dogs and Wendy, to the hand picked flowers and fruit on the property in our room. The room was very clean and Eco friendly. My partner and I visited during an extremely cold weekend and the fireplace was perfect. Created a nice atmosphere aswell as keeping us very warm. The photos used in the ad don't do it justice. The views are breath taking and being able to see the night sky so clear, was unforgettable. Thank you again for sharing this beautiful part of the world with us.

Neil and I love the bush, and home is Panrock Ridge in the Black Range facing the Grampians. In our gardens we specialise in low-growing and unusual native plants, especially Grevilleas, and nurture the Australian flora and fauna. At home we love propagation & bush regeneration, …
