A cosy room perfect for a couple at The Anchorage, an old family house that has been converted into a guest house with 12 guest rooms. Homely, relaxed, full of character and most centrally located, The Anchorage is a great place for families and large groups.

The space
The Anchorage is a guest house located at the foot of La Chaumiere hill in the heart of Shillong. An old building which used to house the Arunachal Museum in the 70's. The space has gone through many stages of modification and renovation to arrive at its own distinctive character. Homely, warm, casual, spacious and superbly located, The Anchorage is an extension of the Goswami family home. We also boast a pop-up restaurant, La Bohemienne et les amis which is seasonally run by the daughter of the family who is an artist, yoga teacher and chef. The most unique, healthy and creative food you will find in Shillong. Do get in touch with the desk for more details.
