Great Riad! Peaceful. Mohammed was an amazing host! And we really had a great time there.

Great place in the center of everything. Muhammad and his crew were all very friendly, accommodating and helpful. They have many other beautiful rooms in this riad too. I would have like to tried other rooms.

Our host was very accommodating and helped us with our heavy luggage. Breakfast was included everyday. The space is nice, especially by the pool. It can be a bit difficult to find the Riad, even for locals (we were picked up by a couple of drivers and a porter and they had some difficulty). A tiny thing that was uncomfortable are that the bathroom towels are really stiff. Overall, thank you so much Riad Jamaii!

I had a lovely stay in Riad Jamaï. Beautiful ambiance, clean rooms and a great terrace. The staff was kind and very helpful. There are opportunities to arrange transport with a partner, which was great. The driver was timely and attentive to walk us (two women) to the front door when dropping us off. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend staying here.

Riad Jamai was fantastic, everyone was really helpful and provided us with lots of advice about restaurants and places to go! We upgraded our room whilst there which was easily accommodated for! The only downside is the location, although a busy area it isn't very close to restaurants and shopping (if you are wanting to be in the heart of it). Overall would highly recommend staying here!

Riad Jamaï was beautiful! Our room was wonderful and clean and the patio with swimming pool was so pretty and a true oasis of quiet in a really hectic and busy city. There was a really big rooftop where it is again really calm and perfect to chill and relax from all the buzz of Fes. The staff was friendly and asked us with everything we want and the traditional moroccan breakfast was huge. You can have dinner at the riad if you request it early and we paid 100 dh per person for it (ours was vegetarian). The only thing we did not enjoy is that there was not a clear description of the location and every time we went out and had to find it again , most people could not help us since they did not really know where it was. This resulted in taxi drivers dropping us off at the wrong spots etc. So before you go ask the name of the neighbourhood and which gate it is so you know what to say to the taxi drivers. The riad is not in the area where all the restaurants are (boujlout) which is fine but just know that you won't find a place to eat dinner around the riad. It's located in the part of the town where the fresh vegetables are sold. Mohamed will be able to make you a reservation for a restaurant for 150 dh a person, but only one and not another. He won't tell you how to get to boujlout because that doesn't grant him commission. We found out about it ourselves and took a taxi there, finding dinner for only 30dh a person on a rooftop. The same goes for a taxi from the Fes station it should not cost you more than 25dh but he will tell you it costs 70dh! Lastly we wanted to book a trip through the dessert and since the little streets are a maze we did not feel comfortable looking for a travel agency in there! So we asked Mohammed to help us, he only gave us one number of a guy that only did private tours which was of course way too expensive for us students. So we asked if he could contact other services or tell us about other agencies that organised group tours, but he only wanted to give us this one. When we said we could not afford a private tour he just chuckled and went on with his own business. So in short: great stay but really frustrating that no commission meant no service and that we were kind of left by ourselves in finding everything out if we did not feel like paying triple the normal price of things. Personally I think a host should give you better advice (like for example saying how much dinner normally costs and the usual price of taxis so you can haggle the correct price), he didn't do that and I think...

Great, historical building with intricate tile work everywhere. Unique guest room with natural light. There are quite a few stairs to get to this top floor room. AC worked well, shower stayed hot. They can prepare dinner for you with 4+ hours notice to dine around 8:30pm and it's really delicious, but you have to plan ahead. Our least favorite part about this Riad was the location. It's in an area outside of the Fez Medina walls and therefore off the beaten track. There are aggressive beggars and this location has a confusing address that locals advised "is not a good area" and was hard to find. That being said, we didn't feel comfortable exploring by foot and our medina tour guide spent an hour trying to find this Riad the morning of our tour.
