"Scenic and the City" cabin is located less than 2 miles from the beautiful north Georgia town of Blue Ridge, GA. The cabin is on a private, dead-end road so it's very quiet and peaceful. With long range views to the west across layered mountain ranges, the sunsets are spectacular.

Nicely decorated with comfy furniture and beds and everything you need for a soothing and relaxing mountain getaway. Perfect for large families or multiple families to make many life-long memories. Come and enjoy!

The space
Due to Covid-19 and less large groups booking our big cabin at the moment, we have modified our pricing based on 4 guests then $20 each additional guest per night.

"Scenic and the City" cabin has 5 bedrooms, 3 full baths, and a half bath off the main level great room. The main level includes the large kitchen with an island and 4 bar stools (table settings for 12 guests), great room with stone fireplace with gas logs, master bedroom with King bed, shower, and Roman soaking tub. The second main level bedroom has 2 beds; one Queen and one Full along with a full bath tub with shower.

Both main level bedrooms open to the screened porch as does the great room. There is a large dining table on the screened porch for enjoying a wonderful sunset meal ... and no bugs!

Also on the main level is a bonus room with a Trundle bed with two (2) twins. This room also includes a desk for those of you who just can't get totally away from work - your "away" office.

The terrace level includes two bedrooms, a game room, gas log fireplace, ping pong table that doubles as a large dining table with table cloth (can seat 12) for when everyone wants to eat together, and the entrance to the beautifully landscaped lower patio , fire pit, and hot tub ... and views. Bring your Binoculars or telescope - beautiful views.

Central heat and A/C. High speed Internet, WiFi, DVD, Board Games, Smart TVs, Cable service with all channels. Plenty of parking for 3-4 vehicles with a turnaround to depart.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire cabin. The road in is a private, quiet, dead end road with the cabin about 3/10 of a mile off main highway.

Other things to note
The parking area and driveway are gravel. It's a slight grade leaving the parking area and it's easy to spin on gravel so take your time and please try not to tear up the gravel entrance.

Firewood is provided for outdoor fire pit during fall and winter seasons but not during spring and summer.

Location

Blue Ridge, Georgia, United States

Blue Ridge is Georgia's favorite mountain town, only 90 miles north of Atlanta via I-575, but a million miles away from it all. With 106,000 acres located in the Chattahoochee National Forest, Blue Ridge, GA is definitely the cure for whatever ails you.

Renew your spirit on a day hiking to local waterfalls or horseback riding on forested trails in the Chattahoochee National Forest. Bring the family and discover the thrill of an Ocoee River whitewater rafting adventure, ride on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, enjoy a current movie at the Swan Drive-In Theather, or treetop Zipline canopy adventure. Rent a pontoon boat, kayak or SUP on beautiful Lake Blue Ridge. Pick locally grown fruit at Mercier Orchards, a 75 year old family orchard. Play a round of golf at Old Toccoa Farm, Fannin County’s first and only golf course that fronts 4,000+ feet of the Toccoa River and offers immaculate zoysia tees and fairways along with challenging bent grass greens. Catch a trout on the tailwaters of the Toccoa River or a clear mountain stream; Blue Ridge is the Trout Fishing Capital of Georgia. You will not be lacking in things to do in the area. Or ... just kick back, relax, and enjoy the cabin.

Visit the Fannin County Chamber of Commerce website for much more visitor information. And since we are in what is known as the Tri-state due to our closeness to TN and NC, you may want to visit the Chamber of Commerce sites of the following counties: Gilmer (Ellijay area), Union (Blairsville area), Towns (Young Harris & Hiawassee area), Polk County, TN (Copperhill area), and Cherokee County, NC (Murphy area). There's a lot to do here and the surrounding areas.
