Casa Narinho is our private casita. A modern, well appointed bedroom with a king size bed, ensuite bathroom, air conditioning, Wifi, a stunning wooden verandah, and a private lounging garden, and large communal pool.

~15min walk to Tofo/Tofinho beach, 200m from both Turtle Cove and Mozambeats Motel restaurant/bars with swimming pools.

The space
Narinho is the great hideaway spot for the single traveller or couple looking to relax in Tofo, chase waves, get underwater on scuba, or try out some deep water sport fishing. We currently have no near neighbours so this is also the perfect spot for those looking for a tranquil space to relax, sunbathe, or do some out of office work.

Appliances include a mini-fridge, kettle, toaster, and a Weber BBQ. There is enough crockery and cutlery for two to prepare breakfast, light lunches, and a have a delicious seafood braai with some wine. Please note it is a standalone ensuite room, there is no kitchen, and no hob/oven available.

Having lived in the area for over a decade, we will also be happy to assist you to find transport to our lovely town, as well as activity and restaurant options to suit you. Our friendly staff: Anastasia (domestic), Feliz (maintenance), and Ernesto (night guard) will also endeavour to make your stay as easy as possible. Between them they speak Portuguese, English, Zulu, Fanagalore, and Bitonga.

The property is completely fenced. We have a great community around us. All the grass huts that you may see lower down the dune are locals that rent from Damiao (the owner of the greater tract of land).

I came to Tofo in 2008 having heard of its whale shark population. I then spent the next 10 years working in the blossoming dive industry in what is one of the most unique and special places I've ever been. Now I spend my time encouraging and developing the vegetation in the beautiful space around my houses Casa Naroo and Narinho.

During your stay

We are usually around in our house next door, but Feliz, Anastasia and Ernesto are our stars who look after the property when we are away. Feliz speaks very good English, Anastasia can also understand English quite well. Ernesto speaks Zulu and Fanagalore but is quite shy with his English. Anastasia will make the bed and do slight cleaning in the room clean roughly every second day - but feel free to speak to her about a change in frequency or if you'd rather not be disturbed.
