Very comfortable accommodations and supper close to the hot springs! Literally just across the road. They is also access to lake with a beach area. We will be staying here again.

Kaayla's airbnb is an amazing gem for anyone wanting to be close to Ainsworth Hotsprings, or the Kaslo area in BC. Its spotlessly clean and beautiful decor, views of the lake and mountains from the apartment and deck, plus access to a beach, while having the convenience of a well appointed kitchen for preparing your own food made it the perfect place for my trip. It is literally right across the street from Aisworth Hot Springs, making a great alternative hotel/motel options that are nearby. I would highly recommend it to anyone travelling in that area by Kootenay Lake. Also, Kaayla was very accessible and helpful by phone when I had questions to ask her about accessing her airbnb, prior to my trip to BC, so my check in was smooth and easy!! Thanks again, Kaayla!!!

It's a nicely decorated place right across Ainsworth hot springs. There are two units and we stayed at downstairs unit. The only concern we had was the bathroom smell. We had a fan going in the livingroom and had the bathroom fan running but we could still smell it. However, it was overall a good stay.

Wow, I'm so sorry you had that experience but glad to know you have been there 3 other times and will come again. Tabitha says that someone had put something up above the deck to kill wasps and she pulled it down and swept it off the deck. She said it smelled and thinks it could be the smell. She said there was no smell inside when she cleaned nor when she cleaned the next day. She said she must have missed the glass. Guests do the dishes and she normally checks everything but must have missed that glass.

I booked this for my parents on their cross country road trip. I appreciated the quick and clear communication from Kaayla, and my parents really enjoyed their stay. They especially enjoyed the proximity to a great restaurant (Ktunxa) right across the street. Highly recommended!

Beautiful location with amazing views across the lake - especially in the morning. Also just a short walk to the hot pool, which also has a nice restaurant. The house is glued onto a very steep slope! The upper floor is a BnB and there is a house below by the beach.

This rental is absolutely stunning. My wife and I stayed two nights and we wished we stayed longer. In front of the place across the street is the Ainsworth Hot Springs Resort, and in the back is a private access to your own little beach slice on Kootenay Lake. There is a spot for a nice jump into the water if you were inclined. Inside the unit is gorgeous and it has amenities that will wow you. The value this place offers far exceeds the price per night. We made good use of the BBQ, fireplace and kitchen. A tip I'd offer is to keep the door closed before it starts to get dark. There is a screen door but mosquitoes can somehow still get in. Nevertheless, if you can book at least three nights then by all means do it!
