This Upper Peninsula 2-bedroom home is at the edge of Lake MI. The water now is much higher than some pictures suggest. Summer rentals by the week only, Sat (3pm)-Sat (10am) check in/out. Enjoy beautiful sunsets, an outdoor fire, and the sounds of chirping birds and lapping water. Honor System: The $30 pet fee is waived if you cleanup hair before departing. Otherwise, please leave the $ for the cleaner. Please bring a towel for wiping before pets come in and do not allow on furniture.

The space
This cottage is 8 miles west of St. Ignace which has ferries to Mackinac Island and many attractions. It is 3 miles east of the six-mile expansive Lake Michigan Dunes Lakeshore and 5 miles east of great Cut River Bridge hiking trails and beach . The home includes two bedrooms, each with a full bed. There is one bathroom, a dining area, laundry room, garage, and large living room area that includes what was originally a third bedroom. There is a patio with a grill and also a full deck on the lake side of the house. Bring binoculars to view passing ships and to watch birds. The quality of our well water can vary, so bringing water for drinking and cooking is suggested.

St. Ignace, Michigan, United States

This cottage, property and lakeshore is very secluded. Though just off Hwy2, the cottage is nestled at the end of a long black-topped private drive, away from traffic and noise. The view of the stars and meteor showers is spectacular. Watch freighters pass and view ducks, herons, cranes and a variety of bird life. Bring binoculars!
