This is a lovely, comfortable house, full of everything you need to feel at home. we received a warm welcome from Sarah, and a lovely welcome package of essentials and a few treats. Surrounded by gorgeous bocage countryside, yet within east reach of the beautiful coastline and all the key sites for anyone wishing to visit the Battle of Normandy museums and memorials.

The house is big, very kids friendly- everything you need for a family with children. Very equiped with everything you can dream of, a great kitchen that makes you want to cook all day! Big back yard, great for spending the afternoon. The location is great, an hour drive to the top of normandie attractions. Sarah is very nice, warm and friendly, she fills the fridge with food and helped us taking our baby to the doctor. Best vacation ever! Don't miss it!

Great house for a rural break - we BBQ'd every night despite a super well equipped kitchen, and for children there's a big garden, and even better, plenty towels, a washing machine, dryer and washing line! Sarah is super responsive as a host, and there are loads of beaches and day trips within 30-60 mins.

Sarah was a lovely friendly host, great communication from the minute we booked. The cottage is as described, a rustic rural retreat with the nearest village about 2km away. We enjoyed day trips out and evenings in, cooking in the well-equipped kitchen and using up the much-appreciated firewood for nights in front of the fire. A real break from it all.

Sarah gave us a very warm welcome and personally introduced the house to us. She even surprised us with a full fridge, full of lovely things for an excellent start of our holiday so we didn't need to go shopping that day! The house is excellently equipped with everything one could need. The kitchen is wonderful so we greatly enjoyed preparing our own meals there almost every day! The kids had their own room and were allowed to use all the toys! They were happy inside and outside in the huge garden where they drove the children's tractor hours and hours... The garden is so big that they found new things to explore and to play with every day of our stay. We enjoyed the very comfortable sofa and fireplace. And also the bed rooms were nicely decorated and comfortable. Sarah even prepared a baby cod and baby bath for us even though we hadn't asked for.... Overall, we really had a brilliant stay and would highly recommend this wonderful cottage in Normandie - thank you Sarah!
