A cozy and colourful room in an authentic, quaint corner of the city. Our apartment overlooks a raintree garden. Home to parrots, kites, and beautiful views, the bus/ train stations,amazing cafes and restaurants are just 5min away!

An affordable clean place to stay during your time in Mumbai, and especially to be able to give tourists the opportunity to stay with an Indian family and to experience Indian customs and traditions and of course also to introduce them to authentic Indian culture, cuisine and care!

Our visitors love to enjoy the private terrace overlooking a beautiful garden! We are situated ideally in a quaint and authentic quarter of the city, and evenings are best enjoyed sitting on the terrace observing the amazing birds above and the beautiful rain trees below. A cup of chai (tea) is perfect at sunrise as well!

Location – neighborhood description
It is a 5 minute walk to the train station(Mumbai Central) and Metro station Aqua Line 3(Jagannath Shankar Sheth Metro_Exit Gate B) and thus very accessible to South Bombay and North Bombay, for the purpose of easily visiting the historical and cultural sites of the city and travel to and from the airport simple and quick. There are also local bus stalls (selling tickets for private bus tours) to other towns and cities in Maharashtra and also to other interesting places in other states close by. We are about 14 km from the International airport.

There are 24-hr Pharmacies nearby and also a Reliance Supermarket at walking distance.

Other Things
You are not allowed to host parties nor have any other visitors in the apartment (other than those booked) Alcohol and smoking is prohibited.

If you are travelling for research or medical care, that requires a long-stay, you are welcome to book with us for longer periods of time as well.

The Neighborhood

Our neighborhood is really unique, we will introduce you to our area on your arrival. There is a lovely local market nearby where we buy our vegetables etc. All religious buildings (mosque, church, and synagogue) nearby if would like to visit and pray. There are always taxis as well, so that you can grab a cab to Colaba, etc. Mostly, local families live in this quarter. It is very safe too!

Safety Practices

As per the recommended guidelines during the pandemic, we are practicing some mandatory safety measures. We are wearing masks and practicing social distancing whilst also preparing and ventilating our space for each and every guest. All the rooms are cleansed and surfaces sanitised regularly. We are addressing all the health and safety concerns and adhering to guidelines advised by our local authorities.

Guest access
We welcome our guests as family into our home. Every guest has their own key and can come and go as they please. We encourage them to enjoy the terrace, dining and living room areas and make themselves comfortable as they would do in their own home. Our kitchen is however not open for cooking meals but our guests may heat food in the microwave. However, eating in the room is not allowed, guests are welcome to eat at the dining table. Breakfast will be served from 8:30 am - 9:30 am.

Other things to note
Please note, the building elevator only comes up to the 9th floor, and our apartment is on the 10th floor, so you would need to climb up about 12 stairs to get to the flat. We can help you bring your bags up if need be :)

*There is no parking for guest vehicles in the building compound. Parking in the area is at your own risk.*
