Tiny home /GREAT perks. Nestled in the trees at the end of a gravel road. Great location in the heart of the Black Hills. We are off Highway 16, minutes from ALL Hills attractions including Mt. Rushmore. A creek runs through the yard/ adjacent to the cabin. Our chickens, dogs, turkeys, and deer are all free range. A beautiful, serene place to kick back and listen to the sounds of the hills. NO SMOKING anywhere on the property is acceptable. We do NOT allow check in after 8pm.

The space
We have a composting toilet -If a composting toilet freaks you out-please ask before you book! We do NOT allow check in after 8pm, you will need to adjust your travel time accordingly. Let us know what you are interested in! Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, 1880 Train, zip line, Custer State Park, Reptile Gardens, or your favorite restaurant--we are BIG foodies! Depending upon what time of year you are here-there are music festivals, food and wine festivals, and of course the Sturgis Rally. There is a grill for you to use and a picnic table/outdoor seating area. Mostly our property is remote, quiet, and beautiful.

Guest access
Our house is close but no too close :) The area around the cabin is for you to use. There are chairs and tables out side of the cabin for your use as well as the gas grill. The road is ours and just leads to the top of our property so it is okay to park on the road to the cabin. Depending upon the time of year, there are wild raspberries all around the cabin - you are welcome to them! We are readily available by phone should you find there is something that you need that isn't in the cabin. Call us anytime!

Other things to note
We do NOT allow check in after 8pm. If we are outside at the firepit- you are welcome to join us for s'mores!

We are in the BOONIES aka the Black Hills - surrounded on three sides by the Forest Service. Lots of trees, wildlife, a creek, and a pond on the property. We are at the end of a (gravel) road so it's pretty quiet! Because we live in a heavily forested area - we don't allow smoking of any kind, anywhere, any time on the property.
