There is a refrigerator /freezer in the garage that is stocked with water and soft drinks. The room has hardwood floors and a queen size bed. It has central air and heat, a ceiling fan, a 40" high definition TV with Uverse and free highspeed internet access. Parking is just steps from the entrance to the unit.

Other things to note

There is free parking just outside the guest quarters. There is a refrigerator for your use and also stocked with water and soft drinks. If you want to use the grill there is charcoal and also the cooking utensils. There is a coffee maker, coffee, cream and sugar in the unit. There are also plates and silverware, a wine and bottle opener and wine glasses. Let me know if you need suggestions of things to do in the area.
FYI - there are sections in the Heights that are dry. Most of the bars and restaurants won't be a problem if you want to get a drink. However, you can't buy beer or wine at Kroger on the corner of Yale and 20th.

Being a business traveler I really appreciate a clean, quiet room to stay in while working in Houston. The room is in a great neighborhood location and only 15 minutes to downtown area. Towels, soaps, cups, glasses, silverware, coffee maker with coffee/tea, large format cable connected HDTV with all the stations, password protected secure wifi, flowers and assorted treats are all provided. Julie is a great host. I have stayed here multiple times and highly recommend it all that want a great place to stay while on business or pleasure to Houston.

Julie User ProfileJulie is a superhost.

I've been a homeowner in the Houston Heights since 2011. I've been in Houston since 1970, graduated from high school at Westchester in Memorial and then received my bachelors degree from Texas Womans University in the Texas Medical Center. I have three grown children that I raised in Spring and Memorial. I love living in the Heights, it's a small town in a big city. The city has so much to offer in so many different areas of interest and activities. Feel free to ask me any questions or for any suggestionsHappy travels,
