HOME HIGHLIGHTS
Great check-in experience90% of recent guests gave this home’s check-in process a 5-star rating.

In a typical puddled clay house, the lovely garden and gite with a stove is perfect for a couple or a little family. Very quiet, its central spot makes it easy to discover all the sites of the region : Bayeux, D-Day beaches, Mont St Michel, Chausey. Calm and nature are the key words...

Alex’s place is perfect for a relaxing break in beautiful surroundings. There were only 2 of us, but there is plenty of space for a family of 4. After a bit of trail and error we found our way to the Gite, Alex’s instructions were really helpful and it didn’t take us too long e…

Hi Holly & Sam, thanks for your stay here! It's true that you looked even more relaxed when you left than when you arrived...that's what holidays are made for and I'm very happy that you came here to experience calm, nature and silence (but also busy markets and places as you said!)...We would love to see you again one day, you are most welcome. Have a great year up there!

A nice quiet remote location although only a short drive to near by villages. Alexiane was a great host with good advice on where to visit and as Alexiane spoken English this was a lovely change from the other places we had stayed. But there again we was in France and it was our…

Thanks Tony for your review, it was a pleasure to have you here! Yes, the wood shavings toilet must have been a real surprise for you (I saw it on your face!..), as you hadn't expected it (sorry but I can't make it more obvious, I already took the toilets into pictures to explain that, which is not very sexy!). But actually, it is a real choice that we made when we built the place, that goes along with the home-made paintings and our love for nature...gite nature for a green place! Thanks anyway, come back anytime and enjoy all your amazing road trips!
