Where you’ll be

Canning, Nova Scotia, Canada

In the tiny village of Canning you are surrounded by farmscapes & big skies; close to stunning beaches, great hiking trails, epic views (Cape Split!) & magical seaside villages. Canning has a great little restaurant (ArtCan) that shares space with our local art gallery. Our local cafe has many fine teas/coffees & sweets. There is a supermarket & liquor store, award-winning butcher, a potter, an art gallery & an ice-cream shop. Canning is 15 minutes from Wolfville - without the noise & traffic problems. In this home-away-from-home you are close to artisan food producers & the Valley’s countless wineries, brew-pubs & great restaurants. It’s a quiet spot to do some great exploring from.

My amazing partner Andrew & I run Floating Bridge centre for learning where we teach Aikido, Tai Chi & meditation to both kids & adults. I have a life-long fascination with consciousness, human potential & energy. The intention for all of our practices is to cultivate peace. I love to read, write, draw & sing. We spend our free time time biking, hiking & watching Nature. We love meeting all kinds of people, exploring, eating & Airbnb.
