The space
The Apartment is quite spacious (60 square meters/645 square feet), bed in the bedroom (200x160cm) has two separate covers, two mid century modern style couches in the living room turn into decent single beds but less than a perfect double bed.

Kitchen has an integrated double cooking hob (electric), microwave, a contact grill and a dishwasher, and utensils too many to mention them all...

Glare-free office/computer desk with multiple sockets and free WiFi in the living room.

Parking space is in front of the house, free of charge.

We keep a garden with seasonal vegetables, herbs and fruits which you may pick and eat during your stay.

Washing machine is in the basement and is shared.

If you bring your own bicycles, paddle boards or skis, you may put them in the garage.

If you like outdoors, hiking or cycling on the hilly and mountainous paths or in river valleys, Bled and this neighbourhood in particular, are a perfect match for you. And there is space for equipment you bring with you in the garage.

There is about 50 meters height difference (55 for our house) between the neighbourhood and the level of the lake. This elevation gives the apartment it's nice view. It also means that, If you walk down to the lake, you will need to walk back uphill. There are 4 approaches from the neighbourhood to the lake, so you can choose a longer and lenient way up rather than a really short and steep one.
You can also drive to the lake shore and park there, but it can get quite pricey doing that daily for multiple days.
