Jane was very much in communication via email before, during and after my stat to make sure that I was as well looked after as possible. The resident caretaker was very welcoming and since I had a self- catering studio and was staying for a week, he took me on a tour of the vegetable garden and gave me produce to cook straight out of the ground. Jane recommended a fabulous country pub in a neighbouring village which turned out to be quite a gastronomic find.

Mick; the care taker, made us feel very at home. He was a wealth of local information, and extremely helpful in any way he could be.

An easy booking process and Mick and his son who greeted me were really friendly and helpful the whole time I was there. I stayed for 8 nights, the place is really easy to find and very accessible. The room was really spacious, all the facilities I needed for my stay, the building was very quiet and hardly any noise was heard from the main road.

This was a well priced and comfortable choice; hosts were helpful and accommodating. The room/flat was tidy and well provisioned; good value for money

Lovely setting and grounds. We were made to feel very welcome and loved the atmosphere of the lodge and surroundings. Would stay again if down that way.

Enthusiastic, mother, grandmother, supposedly retired. The Stonehenge B&B at Scotland Lodge is where I brought up my children and I now live mainly in the most beautiful setting in the Close, Salisbury, where our spare room is also available for B&B. Mick lives at Scotland Lodge which is an old house of character in the hinterland of Stonehenge. I am often away with grandchildren or my husband's boat..... but have a mobile and am contactable !
