Hodalen Mountain Lodge offers 5 cabins in quiet surroundings. Simple standard with silence as a bonus. The cabins have one or 2 small bedrooms and are equipped with some bathrooms and kitchens, dining area and sofa. Outside, there's parking and barbecue. The mountain lounge can be rented for large events. There's room for a lot of guests and well-equipped kitchens.

The space
The cabins are square wooden buildings on a level in a quiet small birch forest with large window surfaces and simple standard.

Guest access
Each cabin is independent with bathroom, kitchen/living room, and bedroom : they are small but have everything needed for a pleasant stay. To get there, drive the road 26 until you see the sign "Hodalen Fjellstue", turn left (if you come from Tolga) and continue about 300m to Fjellstua. There is the communal building with road number 191 that is black and large with "Hodalen Fjellstua" in red letters on the square roof : Welcome !

Other things to note
There is no food service in the village. The nearest grocery store is Tolga, 15 km away. Remember to bring food. Outside the summer season, we can arrange simple dining at the cabin and there is dining in the main building under Olsokuken 20-29 July.

Hodalen is a quiet little mountain village with the huts in the center. You will have a view of the church and the abandoned school. The cabins are located in a small birch forest, surrounded by nature and a farm.

We are a french couple interested in nature and outdoors. We have 20 sled dogs, a cat and some chickens, 5 guest's room. We have converted an old Norwegian farm in a fly fishing lodge during the summer and in a sled dogs camp during the winter. We drive 5 cabins in the village too, close to the Church and the village meetingroom : Hodalen Fjellstua. We are located in the center of Norway, close to the Swedish border, near the touristic city of Roros, in a small village of 40 persons surrounded with lakes and mountain, 800m height above sea level. You can travel from Oslo or Trondheim to Tolga with train (about 4h)
