It's a castle, you guys. Book it. It's right by the river and steps away from the train. Harald was a lovely host. He recommended Maximilian's in Niederlahnstein & it was the best meal I've had in Germany.

We enjoyed our stay in this castle -- built in the 1400s but with a comfortable bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom. An easy bicycle ride to many beautiful villages along the Rhine, the location was good as well. Though walkable from the train station, the trains did not wake us up. M…

The Unesco World Heritage site of the Rhine Valley just south of Koblenz is worth seeing, but I must agree with Hans-Harald, that the neighbouring Mosel Valley is even prettier. For visiting both of these places Hans-Harald’s Towerwatcher’s apartment is just ingenuinely situated,…

It was a special experience to stay in a real castle dating from the 1500s! Hand-Herald was very kind and helpful. The bedroom fit all three guests (a couple and one brother) comfortably. Note that the castle is very close to some train tracks so it was a bit loud at night. Thank…

We enjoyed our stay so much. This is an experience more than a place to sleep. Beautifully kept, lovely gardens, quiet neighborhood. Be ready for an adventure. This is the real deal. Harold was an excellent host as well with a long history of the castle.
