Co host Lynn Rogers has always been an outdoorsman. Knowledgeable about all hunting and fishing areas including history of all the surrounding areas including the nearby National Park just 15 minutes away.
Kentucky Lake 10-15 minutes away.
Lake Barkley 20 min
Lynn is an old time Eagle Scout who has hiked hundreds of miles of Land Between The Lakes trails.
Paducah is just 45 minutes away, all 4 lane except the 1st 2 miles.
Fort Donelson is a 35 minutes.

The space
Bethel House is a beautiful country home. Lightly furnished with everything for a comfortable stay. Very roomy and beautiful country scenery. Due to danger of allergy no pets allowed! Lots of paths to follow and birds and even deer and fox at times. 5 minutes from Murray and 10 minutes from MSU. 15 Minutes to Kentucky Lake.Two restaurants and a Dollar store less then 5 minutes away.

Guest access
House and 6 acres- the back part a nature walk, deer,rabbits and more. See our giant oak tree that has been here 200 plus years ago.
We have a picnic table in the back yard as well as at the back of the wildlife viewing area.
Star Gazing at the back of the mowed pathway has been a favorite, while sitting on the picnic area.
There is a half mile Hike, Bike, Walk, Jogging trail.

Other things to note
National Quilt Museum is 53 minutes.
There is farmland all around so may be some machinery running at times, such as at harvest time mostly fall 1-2 days.This is country so might run up on a deer, fox , raccoon, snake at times.
10 minutes to the lake. 15 minutes to Land between The Lakes National Park.
Co host although not a guide is extremely knowledgeable about all surrounding areas and best places to fish,hunt, site see.
Non denominational Church is located 1/8 miles away.
