We had a nice time at the Gazebo, it’s a pretty little nicely appointed place for 2 and has everything you need. Great location in the middle of Winchelsea. Host lives nearby and was friendly and helpful. Lovely touch of providing a breakfast for us in the fridge. Found communication a touch difficult at times especially around check in. We also had to bring our own bedding, as the host couldn’t supply synthetic bedding. Otherwise stay was wonderful.

We had two days in Gazebo, which as a couple looking to get out of London to have some chill time was perfect for us. We did a lot of cooking and found that the property had everything we needed and more! Terence very kindly met us at the Standard Inn (nice pub next door) to greet us and show to the property. He gave some good tips for our weekend say and was very polite and friendly. Overall I would 100% recommend this for a couple looking to get some fresh sea air. The property is cosy, but also spacious and has everything you need for a great weekend.

A very cosy and well located spot. For us, some great walks from the door and a pub a few doors down the road was a great combination!

Winchelsea is absolutely gorgeous, steeped in history, smugglers' cellars and all. Also a wonderful sense of community, there seemed to be plenty going on in September - we enjoyed the monthly market held in the church. Some stunning walks in the area, across fields and down to a quiet beach. The Gazebo is a little gem, very cosy and comfortable in a quiet street, it also has outdoor seating with a grape vine. The decor was very tasteful and added to the relaxing atmosphere. Good phone signal and wi-fi. Terence and his son were very helpful. Would highly recommend.

The apartment is in the very cute village of Winchelsea. Its bijou but very clean, fresh and light and all the utilities were easy to use. Wifi is great too, there's a lovely pub 1 minute up the road and a bus stop just up the road. I would very much recommend this place.

This is a wonderful base to explore Rye, Winchelsea, Hastings and the surrounding area. The accomadation was in a lovely setting within the heart of the village with a very good pub and farm shop. Great location.
