We are on 10 acres in a rural setting, amongst eucalyptus trees in a quiet rural neighbourhood. It is best to have your own vehicle. We have chickens, ducks and guinea fowls. The tropical garden is large and at different times of the year we may grow paw paws, pineapples and bananas and some vegetables in the winter months. My mother lives next door on a large property and sometimes her donkeys, goats and damara (fat tailed) sheep will come to the fence. They love any left over bread. My three sisters live on adjoining properties down the road. There is a lot of bird life to see and hear.

During your stay

We are both retired and home most of the time. We enjoy entertaining and sharing meals with a glass of wine for dinner. We have three dachshunds and a whippet. So if you like dogs, ours is the place to stay. Dinner is available for $20 each per night including a glass of wine. Guests are free to walk around our garden and the paddock and enjoy the rural atmosphere. There is an active wildlife, lots of birds and frogs and magpie geese in the wet season and the curlews can be heard at night.
